The Homemaker's Club was organized on November 12,1998. We meet the second Thursday of each month at 1:30 from September till June. May is our last meeting of the year. In June we have an outing. It could be just for lunch, or a trip to a museum.
We have made several different crafts, from Christmas trees out of clothes hangers to Easter Bunnies. We had demonstrations on Memory Scrapbooking, and a registered dietitian from the Home Extension office in Danville. We made several quilts for Children and Youth of Danville. As each child is placed in a foster home, they receive a quilt so they have something of their own.

Front Row-Phyllis Snyder, Rhonda Mingle and Ruth Cotner.
After a couple of years we needed a name, now we are known as "The Happy Homemakers of Exchange."
As we are the Activity Committee for the Community Center, we plan things for the coming year. We have hosted the Community Christmas Dinner and have Bingo every Thursday night at 6:30, from January till May and September till November. We are also planning the remodeling of the kitchen.
We are always looking for new people to join us. We have from 9 to 15 homemakers a month. So come out and see what we are all about.
