Exchange Pool

News from Pool President Leslie Machuski

We are currently selling Subway coupons for $3.50. The coupon entitles the holder to a 6 inch sub from the everyday value menu. We only have a limited supply, so drop by the pool and get yours soon.

After the pool season, we will be holding two fundraising events:

On September 11th, we will be at the Holy Spirit Lutheran Church's Fall Festival holding a chinese auction. The church has a chicken barbeque and local organizations have additional stands with games and food aplenty.

On October 17th, we are planning a Home Bingo Party. If you joined us in the spring for this event, you know what a blast it was. If  you didn't please join us for a chance to win one of twenty bingo games featuring products from over 15 home party plans.  Some of the ones we had in the spring are: Creative Memories, Tastefully Simple, Stampin' Up, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Silpada Jewelry and Mona Vie Juice Blends.

If you have any questions or ideas for future fundraising events, please contact Leslie Machuski @ 570-437-3112.

Thanks for your support!

Whether you purchase a season membership, or just join us for a few days this summer, we appreciate your support of our local pool.

Fund Raising:

It is through long fundraising that we are able to provide the Community with a source of relaxation and recreation. Unfortunatley, our efforts have not kept up with rising costs. Due to a new safety act imposed by the Federal Government, we had to make improvements to the pool in excess of $2,500.00. This unexpected cost has put us behind financially. WE NEED YOUR HELP!! Monetary donations as well as donations of time are imperative to keeping the Exchange Pool open. We currently have seven board members who volunteer year long to keep the pool operating, but it is not enough. Please consider volunteering or donating to the pool. We would hate to see another small community pool have to close.

The Board is always looking for additional ways to generate income that will supplement the pool operation.  If you have an idea or wish to conduct a promotion, please contact any board member.
