If you can spare an hour or two on recycling day, the third Wednesday of every month 9a.m. to 5 p.m. your help would be appreciated. This is an community project, to the benefit of everyone, who participates and future generations. Earth's resources and landfill are finite. Phone Phyllis Snyder at 437-2370, and volunteer to meet very nice people on recycling day!

#1 PLASTICS: Soda bottles, clear plastic containers marked #1

#2 PLASTICS; Detergent, shampoo bottles, etc. Containers marked #2

MILK AND WATER JUGS: Cloudy White jugs Please Rinse all plastics Remove and discard all caps and lids Separate the #1's, #2's and jugs before you recycle them. This will save you and the recyclers time.

STEEL CANS: Coffee, food cans, cat and dog food cans, etc Please rinse and remove paper labels. Cut out both ends and flatten if possible. This will save space.

Clear, Green And Brown Glass--bottles & jars only. Please rinse all food containers. Remove and discard all caps and lids Separate glass by color before you recycle it. This will save you and the recyclers time.

Aluminum:Cans ie. soda, beer, juice, ect. No aluminum foil

Newsprint & Magazines separated

Corrugated Cardboard-no packing materials in it (peanuts, bubble wrap or styrofoam).

Cardstock-clean--Includes: cereal, shoe and gift boxes; paper towel & toilet rolls; cards; wrapping paper, paper bags, telephone books.
The following will not be accepted

No food trays or butter containers or buckets. No waxed food boxes, aluminum foil, celophane or ribbon.
